Team Slackers showed up late in typical slacker fashion. But still posted a good score!
We had another fantastic Thursday night of fun this week.
The first round was based on a fan favorite: Hink Pink Teams are challenged to come up with two rhyming words based on a clue and a required number of syllables. Team Ta-Da put up a good fight and logged a score of 7.5. Team No Use For a Name also put up a good fight with a score of 9. Victorious over all though were Team Strangers who had a perfect score AND used their email extra answer for another point. They ended up with 10 points for the first round!
Round 2 was based on Balderdash. Teams are challenged to come up with the definition for obscure words. If they get it before help it’s worth one point. After multiple choice help, it’s worth 1 point. Team JD, Team Ramrod and Team Devilspawn cried miserably that they had to save the world from the march of the soviets as they ran out the door. Team Slackers jumped into the fray at the last minute and still managed to put up a solid 9 points. Team Strangers made a valiant effort and put up 12 points but this time the tables were turned and Team No Use For a Name finished out with 15 points and took the round.
Round 3 was based on a Mind Games Live! original: Out of Order. Teams are given a list of things and asked to put them in a particular order. Team Fockers tried their best to unseat the champs. Team Baker put up a solid score of 23. Team Rockshawni jumped back in fighting and managed to get a great score of 21. Team Two Olives roughed their way to a score of 26 and tied Team No Use For A Name. In a crazy tie breaker, the win went to Team No Use For A Name.
Overall, the grand prize for the night went to Team No Use For A Name. A $25 gift card was their grand prize.
