Team Ta-Da! always has a great time playing with us. We all say "Ta-Da!" every time they hand in an answer

Team My Package Needs a Stimulus were doing everything they could to get their stimulus.

Team DilWorth Enterprises made a great effort and tied for 1st place in both the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Team Blonde Girls and Team The Blondies decided they wanted their photos together.

Team Hot Wings sat in the corner and put the pressure on everyone else!

Team God's Gophers don't seem to understand you shouldn't mix theology and vermin.

We had another great Thursday night this week at Bar Louie Westminster.  Everyone managed to tear themselves away from the Olympics coverage long enough to play some games with us

Round 1 was based on The BillBoard Hot 100 Game.  Players are challenged to answer questions in the following categories: Who Sang It?, Finish the Lyric, or Who Am I?  This was a big fight that ended in a 4 way tie for 1st place.  Team Blonde Girls, Team DilWorth Enterprises, Team God’s Gophers and Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box all sent up representatives for the tie breaking question.  The last man standing was Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box.

Round 2 was based on Squeeze Phrase.  Teams were given categories and then two phrases with all their vowels and punctuation removed.  They were then challenged to guess the correct words and put the vowels back in place.  Team Ta-Da put up their best score of the night with a solid 14 points.  Team The Blondies also put up a strong score of 16.  Team My Package Needs a Stimulus was determined to take first but barely missed it with a score of 17.  Team Baker managed to tie for first place with a perfect score of 18.  However, the tie breaker went to Team Hot Wings and they won themselves a free appetizer.

Round 3 was based on Letter Roll.  Teams were given 3 letters and challenged to come up with 6 unique words using those letters.  Any words duplicated between teams were counted zero.  The newcomers this round, Team Ragin’ Woody’s, managed a great score of 17 points.  Ultimately though, Team Hot Wings won round three and got themselves a free entree on the house!

In a first for Bar Louie Westminster, we had a tie for the grand prize winner.  Team Hot Wings, Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box and Team God’s Gophers all sent up representatives.  Three Teams entered… only 1 left with the prize.  That team was Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box

As an administrative note, we’ll be moving to Monday nights here at Bar Louie Westminster.  Come out and play with us on Mondays from now on. We’ll see you then!!
