most teams treated this round like a paint by numbers as they felt they had it laid out for them. 4 teams had nearly perfect rounds and resulted in the first tie breaker for the evening. those teams being Lemurs, Single Malts, Bears for fears, and GCFA. The winner was….

Round 3: Mindstein(New Round)

Wacky would be how I describe this new round their was and an interesting array of trivia questions. Not that any of the teams were flustered by them . The lowest score was only four points off a perfect score and again we had many teams tied at the end those teams being , GCFA, I Don’t know, Blue jays,  and Lemurs. the winner being

In Round 3, we played Scattergories Categories. This round was won by Bahama!!!

Most points for the night and the coupon for the free pizza went to Prairie Fire!

So what, you ask, made this night so special? While I was reading Question #6 in Round 3, this nice man named AJ came up and asked for a karaoke slip. I told him he was a day early and that Tuesday is trivia night, “….But what song did you want to sing?” We make dreams come true at Mind Games Live trivia. While I was tallying scores for Round 3, AJ sang, “Walking in Memphis” to the bar. OH. MY. WORD. AJ– if you’re reading this, please come back and sing to us again!

In Round 1, we played Mother May I?, a Mother’s Day themed game. This round ended in a tie between Pharmers and Mac Attack because they both used their email extra. Pharmers prevailed in the playoff round, securing the bucket of beer for their personal enjoyment.

In Round 2, we played Zero, a totally new game! Team one and Snakes on a Bar tied this round, both by using their Email Extra. Snakes on a Bar won and received the free appetizer!

The Bonus Beer Question was won by Anne from Pharmers!

In Round 3, we played Logos. This round ended in a tie between Pharmers and Voldemort. Voldemort won this playoff, for the $10 gift certificate to Old Chicago!

Pharmers, a team full of geniuses, had the most points for the night and won the coupon for the free pizza!

The first game we played was Mother May I? It was a fun Mother’s Day themed game that the teams loved. The winners this round: Road Rash! $10 certificate for you guys!

Next up was Zero. This was a new game that the teams got into right away. Some questions were a little trickier, but Teachers of the Year pulled ahead in the end and won the $10 certificate for this round.

BBQ!!!!!!!!! Wyatt was the winner!

The last round of the night was a Mind Games Live favorite; Logos! Each question was themed around a certain brand. This one was close, but because they used their Email Extra, Law, Inc. won the $10 certificate. At the end of the night after I added up points we had a play-off for the $35 in certificates between Law, Inc. and Tres Amijas. The winners of the big prize this week; Tres Amijas!

The first game we played was Wuzzles. It was a great game and pretty close, but three teams used their Email Extra and we had a play-off. Road Rash, Glenn & Simpy, and Law, Inc. went head to head and Road Rash ended up being the $10 certificate winner.
Round two brought us Numbers Game. This game was really fun and people really enjoyed it. In the end, Fab 5 won the round and the $10 certificate.

The last round was Mindstein and teams enjoyed it quite a bit as well. Scores were all over the board but Fab 5 won this round’s $10 certificate as well. You guessed it, Fab 5 won the whole night as well! An extra $35!!!

In Round 1, we played Wuzzles, always a crowd-pleaser! This round ended in a three-way tie between Snakes on a Bar, Team One and Blues 42. All three teams used their Email Extras here, but Snakes on a Bar prevailed.

In Round 2, we played Numbers Game. Fake Aunt Betties won this round for the free appetizer! Great job!

The Bonus Beer Question was won by a nice fellow from Team One.

In Round 3, we played a new game called Mindstein. It was super fun and was won by Pharmers by 1 point! They won the most points for the night by just 1 point as well! Congrats!

Rnd 3 was Mindstein, a new game. And triviahead, Pardon Me, won by one point.

So with close scores in every round, not a surprise that No El Puerco and Kesmac were locked in a dead heat.  Would the play off yield a different winner than round 1?  Nope. No El Puerco, which normally stinks at tie-breakers, won them both tonight!

In Round 2, we played Pass the Popcorn. This ended in a three-way playoff between Bi-Curious George, Team One and Anyang. Bi-Curious George took this round and won themselves an appetizer!

In Round 3, we played Vital Statistics, a new game! This round was won by Team One who received the $10 gift certificate to Old Chicago. Team One also had the most points for the night, so they got the free pizza too! Here they are revealing their strategy for winning.
