I had a feelin’ it was gonna be a great night here at TGIFridays, and I was definitely right! There was a lot of energy in the room tonight which always makes for great games! The teams tonight were Scandals & Animals, KC, The Gold Explorers, Tim, Mistress Bates, Jewell, Zanakis, FOAD and Team Gas!
The first game was Refraze and all teams came in full steam ahead! There was little to no hesitation with these teams for this first round and I knew it was gonna be a close one. I did have one team giving me answers that I can’t even repeat here, but they were just trying to make me laugh! So, two teams came out of this tied with a perfect nine points! Teams KC and Mistress Bates were lined up to go head to head for the tie-breaker! After the dust settled it was KC who came away with the win!
The second round tonight was a new game called Eye Know. This game features visual clues along with an additional question for bonus points. All teams took to this one quickly and the points started adding up. This round was extremely close, but Mistress Bates took the win with fifteen and a half points!
Our final game tonight was Chronology and all teams kicked it into high gear with this one! It’s always great to see teams so into the game, and it I’m sure the prize money was somewhat of a motivating factor! This round almost ended with a three way tie, but Mistress Bates pulled ahead with the last question! They finished the round with fifteen points and $25 cash!
The overall point winner tonight was Mistress Bates giving them another $50 cash for a grand total of $75 (not counting the free appetizers too!) Great job guys!

Team Baker keeps expanding!!
Team One & Done decided to try out Monday's for a change
Team Jesus Christ Superstars did a little musical number called "Everything's Alright"
What a great time we had!! What fierce competition!! What crazy answers!
This was our first week on the new day: Monday Nights!! Same time though, 7P-9P. All the regulars came out to play and we’re working on getting more folks to come out and help widen that competition field!!
Round one was based on Urban Myth. Teams were given statements and then challenged to determine whether it was a myth or the truth. Team Baker was consistently mislead by the myths and just barely pulled out a 6. Team FS&D managed a solid score of 7. Team One & Done gave first place a run for the money with a score of 8. Ultimately the spoils went to Team Jesus Christ Superstar with a score of 9!!
Round two was based on Don’t Quote Me. Teams were given a quote and asked to identify the speaker. This was a tight race. Team Baker crossed the finish line with a score of 13. Right above them was Team Jesus Christ Superstar with a score of 14. There was a tie for 1st place between Team FS&D and Team One & Done. Team FS&D took the round and managed to win themselves a free appetizer.
Round three was based on the crowd favorite Family Feud. Team FS&D cried about having to save starving children living in the streets and left. Team Baker stuck it out and put up a score of 17. Team One & Done managed a solid score of 19. Team Jesus Christ Superstar used their super powers of Email Extra Bonus Question and won the round with a score of 20!! They nabbed themselves a free entree.
Overall, the night was decided by that Email Extra Bonus Question and Team Jesus Christ Superstar won by ONE POINT!!! Great job!!

What another fantastical night at The Dickens Tavern.. A whopping 9 Teams came out this week to have some fun playing Mind Games Live!! Teams ZipperHeads, Bondomatic, Venus Fly Traps, Bar Boys, Go Blue, Team 23, Co Co & Company, Team MJ and Team ME rocked the house tonight, showing off their big, bulging, BRAINS!
ROUND 1: (FIGHT) We played Urban Myth, We learned a lot during this game, rock bands don’t like brown M&M’s, the word crapper makes people laugh, our players don’t trust KFC, it’s wise to drink beer over water, and most of our teams cant win even with 50/50 odds..lol We had an average score of 4.5 this round!! One team knows his stuff (or guesses really well) Way-To-Go Bondo!! Team Bondomatic scored a beer this round!!
ROUND 2: We played “Don’t Quote Me” Trying to remember quotes with a little beer in you proved difficult for some of our teams.. I found our teams know a bit to much about Winne the Pooh (explains why Crapper made them laugh) This round went to the veteran team Zipper Heads! They surely traded their free appetizer for free beer :0)
ROUND 3: We played Family Feud! Survey says… the teams were good and warmed up come the final round! Why is chocolate more important than childeren.. we may never know. Had fun embarassing some of our teams when it came to ‘What electric item do you use in the morning?’ they may have shared a bit to much..lol We had a really close game for a while and those Email Extras put two teams in a dead heat for the round, Bondomatic & ZipperHeads AGAIN!
The Tie-Breaker question was.. how many layers in a big mac? Do you remember the song? ♪Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun♫
Team ZipperHeads won the tie breaker for Round 3, winning the round and shockingly those two teams were in tied for Overall too! Soo by winning Round 3 they won OVERALL too!! Way to go Team ZipperHeads, you won 2 rounds, and scored the overall prize of $20 Gift Card from Dickens Tavern!!

Well folks, this week at Champps we kept it hot like Jiffy Pop! We had some serious teams who came to have some serious fun! We had 3 Carats, Team Mike, Too Legit To Quit, AJ, Stinky Bar Towel, Your Future Boss and Rowdy & John! These teams were in great spirits and made for a great night!
The first rounds game was Urban Myth, this was a new game we rolled out this week and teams loved it. I was surprised by the number of teams that thought most of the myths were true. It made for a lot of outbursts! It was a very close round and we ended in a tie between Team Mike and AJ! After the tie-breaker it was AJ who came away with the win!
The second round was Don’t Quote Me, yet another new game we debuted this week. All of the teams took to this game quickly and it came down to just one point! And with fifteen points it was 3 Carats who took the second round! We then played our Bonus Beer Question and AJ took the free round of brews!
Our final round tonight was Family Feud. This game is always fun and tonight was no exception! Teams racked up a lot of points this round and really did well in getting the correct sequence! It came down to the wire, but Too Legit To Quit came away with the victory with forty points! All other teams were within two points!
The overall point winners tonight were tied between 3 Carats and AJ! They both had fifty eight points! After the tie-break it was 3 Carats who came away with the win!

Once again it’s on at Division Ale House in Chicago! Teams joined again to take down the staff. Did they succeed? Take a journey through Mind Games Live to find out! This week we had teams Nacho Cheese, Tire Fire, Birthanukah, Guinness and Beat the Staff.
Team Guinness... The dynamic duo!
Round 1: The first game of the evening was Urban Myth. Is it true or isn’t it? Teams learned fun facts while getting in the groove of things for the evening. Team Guinness was a one man show doing a great job and his teammate joined him during round 2. Nacho Cheese and Tire Fire were neck and neck and Birthhanukah and Beat the Staff were neck and neck. We ended up with a tie this round with Birthanukah and Beat the Staff! Team Birthanhukah had the luck of the birthday girl on their side and won the round.
Round 2: The second game of the evening was Don’t Quote Me. Team Nacho Cheese had to head out but they held their own. Team Birthhanukah and Beat the Staff both showed us their moves, dancing their way into extra points for style. The staff also did really well on this round winning over Birthanukah, but of course Birthanukah took the prize. Team Tire Fire was not too far behind though. Let’s see how this all played out.
Team Tire Fire... These guys were full of energy! I love it!
Round 3: The last game of the evening was Family Feud. We all are familiar with this favorite! Teams provided fun answers for this round. The scores were really close between Birthanukah, Beat the Staff and Tire Fire! But, Birthanukah pushed their way to the finish line winning the round.
Team Birthanukah... Congratulations Team! They won hot pepper shots and took them like the champs they are!
And the winner was… Birthanukah! Congratulations! You guys rock! This is the place to be to celebrate a birthday. Free drinks for the entire team! Who can beat that?

We played some great games tonight down at TGIFridays Lone Tree. Two of the games were brand new and we finished up with an old favorite, it made for some great Mind Games! The teams tonight were Hippo Frogs, Global Hawks and Crazy Girl! It was strangely slow tonight compared to the normal craziness here, but we still had a fun night!
The first round was Urban Myth, this was a new game and it’s basically questions set around a True or False type of format. The questions were great though and got some good laughs! The rounded ended with Crazy Girl winning it with six points!
The second game was Don’t Quote Me. This was the second brand new game we played tonight and it really got a good response. Teams we definitely into it, so even though it wasn’t packed, it was still loud and crazy! Even though it was close, this round brought in a new winner with Global Hawk! We then played our Bonus Beer Question and Crazy Girl took the free beers!
The final round tonight was the old favorite, Family Feud. I received some absolutely crazy answers from this bunch! I can’t even tell you what some of them were, but let’s just say teams earned a couple style points here and there! This round ended with all teams very close, but Global Hawk came away with the victory and $25 cash!
The overall point winners tonight were Global Hawk, also winning them $50 cash! Great job guys! (They wanted to leave early, but decided to stick around… and they walked out with $75 cash from TGIFridays!)
Team Ta-Da! always has a great time playing with us. We all say "Ta-Da!" every time they hand in an answer
Team My Package Needs a Stimulus were doing everything they could to get their stimulus.
Team DilWorth Enterprises made a great effort and tied for 1st place in both the 1st and 2nd rounds.

We had another great Thursday night this week at Bar Louie Westminster. Everyone managed to tear themselves away from the Olympics coverage long enough to play some games with us
Round 1 was based on The BillBoard Hot 100 Game. Players are challenged to answer questions in the following categories: Who Sang It?, Finish the Lyric, or Who Am I? This was a big fight that ended in a 4 way tie for 1st place. Team Blonde Girls, Team DilWorth Enterprises, Team God’s Gophers and Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box all sent up representatives for the tie breaking question. The last man standing was Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box.
Round 2 was based on Squeeze Phrase. Teams were given categories and then two phrases with all their vowels and punctuation removed. They were then challenged to guess the correct words and put the vowels back in place. Team Ta-Da put up their best score of the night with a solid 14 points. Team The Blondies also put up a strong score of 16. Team My Package Needs a Stimulus was determined to take first but barely missed it with a score of 17. Team Baker managed to tie for first place with a perfect score of 18. However, the tie breaker went to Team Hot Wings and they won themselves a free appetizer.
Round 3 was based on Letter Roll. Teams were given 3 letters and challenged to come up with 6 unique words using those letters. Any words duplicated between teams were counted zero. The newcomers this round, Team Ragin’ Woody’s, managed a great score of 17 points. Ultimately though, Team Hot Wings won round three and got themselves a free entree on the house!
In a first for Bar Louie Westminster, we had a tie for the grand prize winner. Team Hot Wings, Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box and Team God’s Gophers all sent up representatives. Three Teams entered… only 1 left with the prize. That team was Team Barbie Never Gets Pregnant Because Ken Comes In Another Box
As an administrative note, we’ll be moving to Monday nights here at Bar Louie Westminster. Come out and play with us on Mondays from now on. We’ll see you then!!
Taylor held it down last week and kept the fun times going so I want to say BIG THANKS to him. But, this week I was back and full of energy to continue the greatness that can only be had at Division Ale House! You won’t find fun like this anywhere else, trust me.

Pints... Very cute team. Sometimes we had full participation and then it was a one woman (on the right) team. LOL
Round 1: We kicked the night off with the game Billboard 100. We had teams Pothole Surfers, Pints, Russian Figure Skaters, Bacon on Ice and The Birthday Girls. All teams did pretty well on this round. But the Russian Figure Skaters showed us that they really know their music winning the first round.
The Birthday Girls... Happy Birthday!
Bacon on Ice... This team is an oxymoron... a lot of veg-heads on the team.
Round 2: Squeeze Phrase was the name of the second game. This round was getting close so we had the Pot hole Surfers throwing in extra catchy answers for style points along with teams Bacon on Ice and singing and dancing for points. Bacon on Ice, the Birthday Girls and Pothole Surfers all did very well on this round but the Pothole Surfers slid their way to the top winning round two!
The Pothole Surfers... Their name speaks for itself... they know something we don't know! Congrats winners!
Round 3: Letter Roll was the last game of the evening. The Pints and Russian Figure Skaters had to dodge out at this point leaving us with the Pothole Surfers, Bacon on Ice and the Birthday Girls going head-to-head for the crown. This round was a game of chance and style… and the Pothole Surfers mastered the art of it by winning this round as well.
And the Grand Prize winner was… Pothole Surfers! Congratulations!

I gotta tell ya folks… this was one of the closest scoring nights I’ve ever had! It really made for a great night of Mind Games Live and a whole lot of fun! Teams on hand tonight were AJ, Too Legit To Quit, Are you My Baby Daddy?, Rich and Thing 1 &2!
The first game tonight was Billboard 100 and teams were all revved up and ready to win! This round went by fast and teams were racing to bring me their answers! Everyone did very well and it came down to the very last question! Too Legit To Quit pulled it out right in the end and came away with the victory with seven and a half points!
The second game tonight was Squeeze Phrase. This round was one of the most competitive I’ve ever seen with teams literally yelling out loud when they figured the clues out! A lot of energy last night! This round ended with all teams within two points of each other and two teams tied with a perfect eighteen points! WOW! The tie-breaker was between AJ and Thing 1 & 2 a classic match-up! After the tie-breaker… we had ANOTHER tie-breaker because both teams had the exact same numerical answer! Crazy! So after the second tie-breaker it was Thing 1 & 2 who finally took the round!
We quickly played our Bonus Beer Question before the third round and the rowdiest bunch in the place won the brews, Too Legit To Quit! Out final game tonight was a new one called Letter Roll, teams took this game right away and began scoring massive points! Again, one of the closet rounds ever! At the end of the round all teams were within one point of each other! The round ended with yet another tie-breaker between Too Legit To Quit and Thing 1 & 2! (I told you it was a great night!) After the tie-breaker, Thing 1 & 2 came away with the win!
The overall point total winner tonight was AJ! They finished the night with forty-five and a half points beating Too Legit To Quit by a half point! WOW!
Despite the cold teams Bondomatic, Zipper Heads, 1st Place Losers, Team 23, Bar Boys, The Morgan’s, Venus Fly Traps and the New Things on the Block came out to play some fantastic trivia! The teams warmed their brains with a variety of drinks and got settled in to play!
This game really stumped the ♪Musically Challenged♫ teams! We had a tie between two teams; the home team Bar Boys & a returning team ‘New Things on The Block’! We threw the round to a team who could actually drink the beer.. hooray! New Things on The Block!
Taking the vowels out of the answers and adding booze made this game hilarious! WW THS GM WS LTS F FN! We had a tie for this round also! After a nail biting battle of Paper, Rock, Scissors between Venus Fly Traps and the Bar Boys, The Bar Boys topped this round also! The teams may have boo’d but the bars joking threat to cut them all off changed their attitude quickly.
This game was a toughie being late in the evening, after a few rounds (of game & drinks) it’s kind of hard to think about Vocabulary words! Although we lost a few teams focus during the final round we ended things with a tie. Two of our veteran teams Bondomatic and 1st place losers fought it out for 1st with a tie breaker question giving the round to the 1st Place Losers!
CONGRATS to 1st Place Losers for taking their 2nd week win in a row! Way to go guys!
